Dear
Chuck
I have a seven-year-old daughter who hates
school. From talking to her, it seems that she feels a lot of
pressure to get her work done at the same rate of the other
children. My husband and I have talked to her and try so very hard
to keep her self esteem up, but every morning it is a battle to get
her out the door. We have kept all of her school work to show her
how she is improving, but this has not helped at all. She has good
friends at our church, but not any at school, and complains that the
kids at school are mean. Any suggestions? Thank you for your input.

Thanks
for the note about your daughter hating school. Of course I don't
know your financial situation, but I would put her in a Christian
school or private school of some kind to see if that helps. It would
be worth a bank loan or something to have her like school. If she
hates that one too, then there probably is something a little
deeper. Be sure and talk to her teacher about the situation too. She
might have spotted something. Also she might have the Concrete
Random learning style. I am a CR, my son is a CR one of my grandsons
is a CR and my DOG is a CR. We do not look at the world like
everyone else. Here is a profile of how we are designed.
